2022 witnessed the creation of the GT family. The original GT in triple laminated steel entered the scene back in 1997, proving hugely popular right from the start. Now it will be joined by a version in 14C28N stainless steel.
The GT looks like a friendly giant and has always behaved like one. With new steel, this proven workhorse can take on an even wider array of tasks.
To make it more easily distinguishable from the original, we have dressed the new GT in genuine black leather with white stitching.

All knives are shipped with a DHL tracking number. Once the parcel has been picked up from Helle, it can be traced all the way to delivery.
All Helle knives come with tube packaging and information leaflet.
The knife itself is perfectly decent for the price, although nothing special. I take issue with the sheath though. Starting with the more minor issues, its design is a bit awkward (it is hard to clip the knife in with one hand and the belt attachment method is one of the worse common designs) and it lacks finishing touches like having the edges burnished so they don't cut into your hand (this can be fixed by applying a little oil and rubbing with a smooth stick). My main issue with it was the stitching was coming apart straight out of the box. I write this as the website is proclaiming in big, bold lettering that the products are 'BUILT TO LAST'. The leather the sheath is made of is very low quality to.

Het mes is prachtig afgewerkt, zoals alle messen van Helle trouwens.
Ik zelf heb al een hele collectie hellen messen en een paar LTD.
Die mes heeft voor mij zelfs een speciale betekenis omdat ik het gekocht heb tijdens min behandeling van keelkanker die nu onder controle is.
Voor iemand die een Helle wilt, zou ik zegen doen prachtige messen en goeie afhandeling.
