Ultimate Scandi Survival knife

Working in Forestry I have several Knives in a range of Steels and sizes. This relatively new blade from Helle is likely to be my favourite everyday carry. It is made from a tough but sharpenable stainless steel which won't rust in my wet bag. The blade size is in a versatile sweet spot which cannot easily be categorised for bushcraft, survival or chopper, it can do it all including food prep as it is also reasonably thin and slicey.
The full-tang handle is large enough for a rear hand position to aid chopping. This feature especially attracted me.
I got the blade blank so that I could make my own handle scales out of G10 which is the ultimate materiel for the ultimate scandi survival knife. The curvaceous full tang is so large though that I struggled to buy sufficiently large pieces of G10. I eventually found I could easily buy natural "Jade" G10 blocks in any size and thickness from industrial plastics suppliers. I am excited to finish handle now as polished up the scales will be translucent in the Sun and although that will look fancy it is in reality the no-nonsense choice over colour dyed G10.
I then plan to make a kydex sheath for it with a fire-steel as I can't yet find any makers of kydex sheaths which is surprising for what is potentially the ultimate scandi survival knife.
