The Mândra knife is a staff favorite and often brought along on daily adventures. It's small and versatile, making it a perfect companion on any expedition.
The Mândra is the third knife developed in collaboration with Les Stroud and also the smallest in the collection. Being a small knife, it is surprising how good the handle fits even if you have larger hands. For medium to large hands, it is often used as a three finger grip.
A small knife is often considered to be more versatile. When it comes to the Mandra, this theory proves this to be very true. The well-proportioned triple laminated stainless steel blade comes razor sharp right out of the box. Ready to be used on your next adventure.

The name Mândra means 'Proud' in Romanian.

The collaboration between Les Stroud and Helle goes back more than 10 years and is based on true friendship, respect for other people’s deep knowledge and love for nature.
Mândra was developed during the spring of 2014 to accompany Les during his adventures in Romania. Tested and used during this time living off the land in the Romanian alps, during the filming of Survivorman. Anders from Helle joined the Survivorman team in Romania, and made adjustments according to Les' personal requests after testing.

All knives are shipped with a DHL tracking number. Once the parcel has been picked up from Helle, it can be traced all the way to delivery.

So happy with it and the engravement
The Hella Mandra is a great and convenient knife. It is a great size to wear on my neck during cold times when bulky in wear. The blade came not very sharp but took a minute to make it sharp as hell. It holds its edge and is easy to sharpen when needed. The Birch handles are very nice and fit my medium sized hand great. This knife is most beautiful knife i own. Pls keep in mind that its 3 fingers hold

Super sharp, super endurable, beautiful.
But unfortunately the handle is at least 1 cm too short. I have glove size 10 and get 3½ fingers' grip on the handle
I really like this knife, it's everything I hoped it would be. The size is perfect for my needs, and the build quality is excellent. It's extremely sharp right out of the box, and based on my experience with other Helle blades it should hold the edge well and be easy to resharpen when needed.
This is my second purchase of this knife! Love the design, along with the 3 finger hold. So much my friend liked my first one, it became hers. 🤣
