The blade features a classic Scandi Grind, which means that it is both easy to use for outdoor tasks, and maintain when the edge requires it. The Alleima 12C27 steel is chosen for the same qualities - it is tough enough to handle most outdoor tasks, and easy to bring back to shaving sharp when the edge requires maintenance.
