Nipa continue to build on the classic EDC folding knife named Kletten. A slightly bigger version with hand sanded curly birch wooden handle, durable and made to be used.
This mid-size folder comes with a Scandi grind 12C27 blade, popping sharp right out of the box.
The handle size is just enough to fit a four finger grip for medium size hands and with the well-proportioned handle it will make a comfortable knife to wear around camp or on daily adventures.

The belt clip feels strong and flexible.
They have really put thought into it. The pretty side of is on the opposite side of the belt clip, so it’s what you will see, when you carry the knife.
I have the Utvær as well, and that’s a very nice fixed blade knife. It’s my ‘forest knife’ but the nipa is my home knife, and it has a very nice size.
I live in Denmark, and i wouldn’t want to take it to the local pub because of the size, but I wouldn’t be scared to take it while grocery shopping, or visiting friends.

This. Knife is a classic in so many ways. So easy to sharpen. Excellent handle design . Cannot ask for anything more.
By far the cleanest and most well designed folding knife ive ever used.
I own close to 10 Helle knives and I like to have one on me for daily use and I love a large knife but it’s not as practical for walking around all the time. This foldable knife is the perfect size, the blade is beautiful and it fits great in my hand. 10/10
